Life paint by Volvo makes bicycles glow in the dark for more safety

In United Kingdom every year, over 19,000 cyclists met with accidents. Volvo says the best way to survive a crash is not to crash so they have created Life saving Paint. Volvo has partnered with UK based ad agency Grey London and Swedish startup Albedo100 to develop this innovative paint named as "Life Paint".

Life Paint is a unique reflective safety spray; invisible by daylight, it glows brightly in the glare of headlights, making the invisible, visible. This new product is basically for one’s safety. Life Paint washes off, and will not affect the color or surface of your chosen material. It lasts for approximately one week after application.

Though designed for safer cycling, Life Paint has many other applications. It could be applied to clothes, shoes, helmets, strollers, children’s backpacks, and even dog’s leashes and collars. Supplies are limited as Volvo is only offering Life Paint in six London, and Kent area bike shops right now, and availability will depend on how well it is accepted.

The company says “Road safety should be for everyone- the ones not driving our cars, and the ones who prefer two wheels to four.” Check out the video below for more details:
