Android "L" version 5.0 was
officially released last November and Google named it "Lollipop". The
Next is Android "M"... as always Google will name it after a dessert. It
is highly expected that Google will name the next Android version "Muffin".
It's a bit too early to have any confirmed info, However, Android 6.0 Muffin will be a step ahead from Lollipop in terms or functionality and User Experience (same as ICS 4.0 and JB 4.1 last year).
This name is not officially confirmed
yet, but Muffin seems like a winner name. Android Muffin is expected to
be announced during the first Half of 2015. Geekbench test appears Nexus 5 Android 5.1 update will be available for distribution before the end of this month.
